It's the first Local Love post of 2011 and I am pleased to present a venue that is very near and dear to me - 7F Lodge in Wellborn. The touching story of how 7F Lodge came to be explains their marvelous motto... "Love Saves Lives."This little spot is so quaint and beautiful you must see it to believe it. A turn-of-the-century chapel is the focal point with a pavilion and large wooden deck across the breezeway that is perfect for intimate receptions or events.
7F weddings can cost as little as $850 for a weekdays and up to $4200 for 48 hours at the lodge - a perfect idea if you want to have a rehearsal followed by a dinner catered by Old Brazos Biscuit Company. You could wake up the next morning and treat yourself to a day at the spa right there at your wedding venue! 7F's secluded cabins are great for accommodating guests and make perfect honeymoon suites after a beautiful wedding (my husband and I stayed in Mexico on our wedding night).
