(photo via JP Beato Bridals of a beautiful 7F Bride)I am very excited to share with you this next post! This part of my wedding fills me with delight! The Lucky Guy and I just made the payment for the eight cabins that we have reserved for us, our parents and siblings for the night of the wedding. One of the reasons we were sold on our venue (other than the Charming Chapel) was the fact that there were cabins we could rent right on sight and they are secluded enough that it's like you're on a mini-vacay out in the woods in your little cabin! We rented all eight of them so our wedding crew will have the entire place to ourselves that day. Our parents and siblings will arrive early on wedding day so they can relax in their cabin (once we're done decorating, of course) and then, when the reception is over, they can stroll through the trees, under the Texas stars, back to their cabin for the night (unless they want to hit up the after-party at Sully's Place!). The cabins are our gift to our family for all of their help with the planning.
This is how the cabins are described by 7F Lodge:
Secluded cabin suites – cottages, actually. You see, we sell romance in the country. You’ll find us hidden carefully amidst live oaks, yaupon thickets, and the wild charms of 7F’s natural setting.
These secluded cottage suites are themed after the countries that flew a flag over Texas and other things true to Texas. Imagine the fun of staying in an aristocratic Mexican bungalow, a French chateau, or a Hill Country cabin, then later in a Spanish hacienda, a Blues joint, a Texas log cabin, a Western barn, or an Aggie saloon.
Each cabin is carefully designed with a casual elegance and intrinsic, yet individual charm providing the guest with a nest of indulgent comforts.
Below are some photos of each one of the little beauties (sorry they're so small - all photos are from the 7F Lodge website).
First up is our cabin - Mexico! This one comes complete with a heart-shape Jacuzzi! If the cabin's rockin' - don't come a knockin'! Can't wait to curl up with my groom in that hammock out back!

Spain is for my mom and step-dad! This little Hacienda comes with a cute courtyard and relaxing fountain...

My dad, who is also officiating our ceremony, gets France! This one is simply beautiful!

My step-mom and other step-dad (it's a very long story) get The Hill Country Lodge! Look at that tub, y'all! And the cedar bed! The romantic Jacuzzi is on the porch secluded by huge trees in this one - I LOVE this cabin!

My blues-lovin' in-laws will get the Sugar Shack! The Jacuzzi sits right next to the bed in the "Manager's Office" - ooh, la, la! That old truck out back of the Shack has a working radio so they can reminisce on the days of sitting out at "Lookout Point."

The Batts Ferry Log Cabin will go to my sister and brother-in-law and their kiddos! Tons of fun for my nephews to get into and a romantic porch for their mom and dad to relax and watch!

Next up is The Barn that will go to my sister, brother-in-law and their two kiddos. The headboard on that bed is an actual pasture gate - fun!

And, last up - the cabin that will serve as the after-party venue for those who want to keep the party going into the wee-hours - Sully's Place! Since 7F is in the heart of Aggieland, this cabin will help you "relive your college memories" complete with a dance floor, a loaded 1959 Wurlitzer jukebox, neon bar signs, and of course, a bar. 7F suggests that you "relax on the 9 ft. couch indoors or in the private, two-person heart-shaped Jacuzzi tub on the screened-in back porch. The cabin includes a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed and Aggie memorabilia. The private bathroom has a rustic shower and a separate "stall" — without the long lines! The front porch has a relaxing porch swing and the back porch includes two rockers." Now - that's going to be one rockin' after-party, y'all!

I can't tell if I'm more excited for the wedding, the reception or the cabins! Let me know what y'all think?
